Q: Do I need any prior graphics expertise to follow this course?
A: Not at all. This course was designed to be easy! The techniques on this DVD are based on tricks and secrets that can be learnt and applied by anybody capable of using Photoshop CS.

Q: What will I learn?
A: You will learn quick and easy methods of producing designs, logos, illustrations, textures and much more, which can be applied to a range of web, print, video or software applications.

What’s more, the techniques and tricks can be adapted and combined so that you can create personal designs and your own cutting edge graphics. For specific exercises, visit the Tricks of the Trade gallery.

Q: Does the course involve digital painting?
A: The purpose of this particular course is to help you to produce quality results with minimum time and effort. Therefore, tricky drawing and painting is kept to a minimum.

Q: Do I need any graphics programs other than Photoshop (i.e. 3d or vector applications)?
A: No. This is a Photoshop training course. You can import resources from other applications to enhance your work if you wish, but all resources are provided or referenced.

Q: Is Tricks of the Trade available in any other languages?
A: Not at this time. Subtitles may be added in future editions, depending on the demand.

Q: How do I purchase the DVD?

Q. How do I pay?
A: You can pay securely using PayPal. Unfortunately I am unable to process other payment methods at this time.

Q. Is this site secure?

Q: How long will it take to deliver?
A: The DVD will be posted within 1-4 working days of purchase. In some rare cases payment may need time to clear and delivery may be delayed. The Digital Download will be available within 24 hours of payment.

Q: What if my DVD is damaged or lost?
A: Contact me and we'lll arrange a replacement to be sent out to you at no additional postage cost.

Q: What if the course does not meet my expectations?
A: I'm offering a 12 day money back guarantee on all DVD-Rom orders so if you are unsatisfied for any reason and want a refund, contact me within 12 days of the purchase date. I will honour your refund* once I have received the returned DVD-Rom.

C o m p a t i b i l i t y

Q: Is the DVD-Rom compatible with the Mac, Linux or other systems?
A: Yes. Although you may not be able to use the integrated web player on all systems, you can run videos manually on any system capable of running DivX movies at 720x432 resolution, including Mac, Linux and even certain DVD players.

You can download the DivX codec for Windows or Mac from www.divx.com or the VideoLan player for multiple operating systems at www.videolan.org/vlc/

Q: What are the requirements?
A: A PC or Mac with DVD drive and speakers. A 2ghz CPU and 64mb graphics card are recommended for smooth playback. Access to the Internet is not essential to run the DVD, but will be useful for downloading resources.

Q: What version of Photoshop do I need to follow this course?
A: The course was developed using Photoshop CS2, but can be adapted to work with CS1, CS3 and most tutorials can even be followed with Photoshop 7.
